Our gathering goes on for 3 full days and is filled with Ceremony... Experiences that YOU participate in and are transformed by. Wisdom and culture is shared throughout the gathering by Elders of all nations.
We are blessed to have Internationally known speakers that inspire great change, allowing YOU to experience life through new eyes, seen from all perspectives, and brings greater understanding, compassion, and love for all.
We feature live music, drumming, drum circles, women’s circles and men's gatherings. Vendors and artists who offer one-of-a-kind jewelry, drums, flutes, medicine bags, healing tools, and crystals.

This gathering will be on the the Land that is directly connected to Serpent Mound (Soaring Eagle Retreat).
Chief Golden Light Eagle always said, "Be on the land." He loved this land.
On the Land there is a 400 year old Ash Tree, next to a old Spring House. Aunty Pooki Lee will Lead us in a water blessing there.
We will have Wisdom Keepers, Music And Drumming at Least 2 times a day in honor of the Thunder Birds. The Thunderbird symbol is used by many Native American tribes. It was first used by the Mississippian culture which was around in 800 CE to 1600 CE. The mound builders had Thunderbird masks with horns. The horns represented spiritual power.
The Actual Equinox will be Saturday 9/23/23 at Balance, Equinox in Latin means equal night, giving the impression that the night and day on the equinox are exactly 12 hours long.

Terri has presented at workshops throughout the U.S. and Mexico and has worked with healers from around the world to hold spiritual retreats in various global locations. Nana Shuni Giron. Nana Shuni is an internationally-recognized Guatemalan Ceremonial leader Mayan Ajq’ij – a Maya Calendars Day Keeper and spiritual guide. She has doctorate in Naturopathic medicine, Iridology and Alternative therapies. She is shamanic plant healer and teacher that specializes in Psychotherapy and shamanic rituals. She is also the editor of "The Circle of Life" by Grandfather James Dubray. Trained by her Grandmother in the ancient Celtic traditions, and made a relative by the Lakota Nation in 1980, she has been trained in many other traditional cultures and ceremonies. After having a vision she walks with Blue Star Woman and the prophecies.
Thomas Johnson Thunder Rock of the Stars Sacred Geology of the Serpent Mound Valley. Tom is a rock man from Michigan and has been collecting rocks since he was 4 years old. Collected a lot around Sylvania, Ohio in an old 350 million year old sea bed 90 feet under ground through the 60's and 70's until the government stopped that activity with MSHA and OSHA 1979, He then moved to southern Ohio and began collecting an even older sea bed of 438 million. Many trips around the planet to collect and study fossils dating back to 2,7 billion years, recognized for his achievements in 1984 by the Smithsonian and National Geographic, he has written 3 books and lectured on the subject of trilobites and Meteor Craters for many years. He was on the History Channel, Ancient Aliens Season 3 Episode 1 the segment on Serpent Mound and adjoining meteor crater.
Jeffrey Wilson, M.Sc. Jeffrery currently serves as President of the Friends of Serpent Mound, a registered 501c3 non-profit organization advocating for Serpent Mound. Wilson been a guest on various national and local TV networks, as well as national and local radio programs including National Geographic International, Coast to Coast A.M. with George Noory, and most recently on the worldwide hit show Ancient Apocalypse. Wilson received a Master's Degree in General Science from Eastern Michigan University located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he taught both Physics and Astronomy classes, and helped operate and maintain Sherzer Observatory on a volunteer basis. Wilson also serves as chief editor and publisher of Serpent Mound Books & Press, a small publisher specializing in deep research into the prehistory of the Ohio River Valley. His first book, Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley – the Expanded Edition will be released at the end of 2022, and the book series The Serpent Mound Chronicles beginning in 2023.

Aunty Pooki Lee. A beautiful soul flower is what comes to mind when you hear or meet the inspiring Pooki Lee. She is of Hawaiian descent and respectfully carries her roots truly bringing the spirit of Aloha wherever she goes. Pooki Lee was chosen as the Vision Keeper for Unity Earth in 2020 after returning from the sacred trip to the Holy Land with Global leaders from around the world. It was unanimous that Pooki Lee be appointed the second person only into this position. An honor in which she holds sacred to her mission and vision for the Earth. Pooki’s prayers and ceremonies are deeply felt as she holds the vision for peace love and unity for all of mankind and beings everywhere. Deeply connected to the “aina”, the land, Pooki celebrates all of life in reverence and honor for the Creator“
Lawrence Greene Leading our Drum Circle is Lawrence R Greene is the founder of Ugata: drum and dance. It was started as a way to connect Southern Ohio with Pan African culture. Ugata is the study of a set of rhythms from the African diaspora Lawrence's incredible presentation on the West African Drumming tradition. He is keeping this long tradition alive and well. He delivers an amazing demonstration of his deep knowledge of these drums. It was so moving to hear his passion for music and personal stories about connecting to his African heritage. Here is a message from Lawrence Greene "I have been wanting to teach an African full moon rhythm and dance called Yankadi. It could be something people can learn and share when they come each time. I feel like we don't learn enough songs to take away. Little rituals that we can add to our lives from the people we gather with multiple times a year."
Dr. Arthur Cushman(AKA) Tata Arturo Mississippian Mounds. He received his Medical Doctorate Degree at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and completed his Surgery Internship at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and Neurosurgery Residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Cushman is Board Certified in Neurological Surgery and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Cushman has many interests, such as Native American Cosmology (North America, Mexico, Central America, Peru), trains and railroads, and alternative and energetic healing. He is a Reiki Master and graduate of the 4 Winds School of Healing – the Light Body School.He is a Collector and Guardian of Native American and Mexican Indian Artifacts. He is also a member of several Archaeology societies: Central States Archaeological Society, Society for Professional Archaeologists (Tennessee), Cumberland Archaeology Society (Middle Tennessee), Board of Directors, Tennessee Ancient Sites Conservancy, Tennessee Archaeology Society, and Archaeology Conservancy Member.His is one of the Directors of Star Knowledge Nashville – Native American Study Group and enjoys travelling to sacred sites and doing ceremonies with native peoples in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru and the United States.
Leza Vivio. Leza is known widely for her abilities as a sound healer and inspirational speaker, as well as the founder of Sacred. Centered. You. She has a passion for both the scientific and intuitive, the practical and the mystical... She enjoys finding the bridges between these worlds and making them accessible to the seeker. For the last two decades, her mission has been assisting individuals find their path to personal growth and wellness by improving their awareness, understanding, and adaptability to change. In her recent years, Leza has focused her work in the healing arts field serving through Vibrational Sound Healing, Past Life & Soul Regression, Spiritual Counseling, and Conscious Relationships. In addition to degrees in Philosophy and Counseling Psychology, Leza holds a doctorate in both Divinity and Sacred Music, and is a licensed professional counselor and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider. She is specially trained in Vibrational Sound Healing, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, Yoga and Meditation, Integrative Medicine, Qigong, Trauma-Informed Care, and is a practicing Reiki Master.
Baba Jubal Harris. Baba Jubal is a percussionist, drum maker, storyteller and teaching artist. His goal is to engage students and teachers in an artistic process that integrates the traditional arts with the core academic curriculum. During a recent Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Arts Learning residency at the Ohio School for the Blind, band and choir students in grades K-12 learned to play and sing African polyrhythms. History, geography, science, math and culinary arts were also integrated into their classroom curriculum. During another OAC residency at the Southern Ohio Museum and Cultural Center, fifth-grade students made drums and learned to perform as an ensemble that included, piano, Orff xylophone, vocals and percussion. He is a pioneer of African Centered Arts integration in American schools and my methodology allows collaboration to develop experiences that meet the Ohio Fine Arts Academic Content Standards for music grades K-12.This multiple intelligence approach is holistic and supports student creativity and achievement. Above all, his love of life and joy of sharing his many creative talents inspires students to learn.
BLUu Mead Appalachian mountains of North Carolina in a little town called Bat Cave with her son in community. When BlUu isn’t creating, or taking care she is praying in ceremony. BlUu is a multifaceted artist, her work is channeled by universal medicine from source. BlUu tells stories from the heart, her visions dawn clarity, and inspire us to remember who we are, and feel alive !She expresses, and spreads her art through original paintings, hand made burl/wood slabs, oracle tarot readings, prints, digital designs, and apparel and more to come !
