From the very start, people try to control you.

It’s exhausting to try to live up to what others want. You are spent.

Resentfulness is setting in. This is a dangerous place to be.  Take some accountability before it is too late.

They tell you who you are.

Right away, the circumstances of our surroundings try to tell us who they think we are and should be. This is how we learn to survive.  The culture, the community, and your family all want to define you before you have a chance to define yourself.

And...

You try to live up to their expectations.

Is that true???

One day you say... wait a minute.  I don’t believe what they believe. I don’t feel how they feel.  This isn’t who I am or who I want to be. This isn’t how I want my world to look.

You realize...This is some bulls#!%.

But the relief of this revelation soon gives way to another question.

Who am I?

You wonder if breaking the mold you’ve gradually been forced into is possible. And if you somehow do, if you’d even recognize the person inside.

So...

You take your own personal inventory.

Are you done living for others?

Don't blow up your world... Reconfigure it.

Release who you are not to become who you are.

What is it to be authentic?

In recent years, the concept of the authentic self has become a defining theme in both personal development and mental health conversations. As individuals increasingly seek meaning beyond external achievements or societal expectations, there is a growing desire to reconnect with one’s core values, voice, and lived truth.

The rhetoric of popular culture often promotes individuality and self-expression as ultimate ideals, yet it can paradoxically reinforce performative expectations under the guise of "being real."  While influencers-turned-life-coaches may offer relatable content and personal anecdotes, their lack of formal mental health training can lead to oversimplified advice, misinformation, and the unintentional reinforcement of harmful patterns under the banner of empowerment.

I am not not selling healing... You are not for sale.

My work is shaped over by two decades of professional experience and half a centery of my own journey.   With me, you will find the benefit of clinical training intersecting with philosophical inquiry, intuition with grounded practice, and fierce honesty and deep compassion.

I don’t just help people feel better.
My goal is to help you
know yourself better... That’s a BIG difference.

As a certified Gestalt therapist,  we will do work that supports the pursuit of authenticity  through a meaningful exploration of the true self in the here-and-now, not as a fixed identity, but as a dynamic, evolving expression of who you are when you are fully present and integrated.
